Well, the first thing that comes to mind is that now I'm a mutant. Surprise?

Aaaaaaand Cammie moved out, Sarah came back and something happened with the ~20 years old bunch a while ago, although I'm not entirely sure of what.

I just realized I suck at summarizing stuff.

I don't think Hallmark makes a "Congratulations on your mutant status" card. But congratulations all the same!

A year is a long time. No worries on the summary. I guess I'll just have to crawl out of my collegiate cocoon more often and actually remember to text people back.

It has it's good things, and bad things, but thanks anyway.

In the grand scheme of things, life goes on as usual around here, so don't worry about walking into an alternate reality or something...unless you do.

Well you see "life goes on as usual" there translates to "crazy hijinks, unexplained phenomena, and general hullabaloo" for the rest of the world.

Oh great. Now I'm going to be worried about walking into another reality.

Living here has that effect on people, I guess. At least it keeps life interesting?

I don't recall anyone ever walking into another reality, not counting Illyana's way of teleporting. Getting snatched into one in the middle of a softball game, now...

This is why I don't play organized sports.

Hi Callie! Nice to hear from you again. I'm not sure I can be more helpful past a list of people who have left. Or at least those I know that have.

People leaving is so depressing. What about some happy news? Or an amusing anecdote.

I don't know. Like, last week I was riding the subway and our car ended up breaking into "I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends." It was awesome.

And what were you doing that made you fall off the face of the world?

Well remote areas of Brazil don't really have the best internet/cell phone access. Then as soon as I got back to New York, I started orientation and classes. And apparently my mutation makes me extremely popular among those in the Environmental Biology Department.

Isn't it kind of cheating for them to use your power for their work?

Also, welcome back. John and I left but we didn't go far.

No. They're still doing their own research; there is no way I can interfere there. Mostly we just have long discussions about how my powers could help conservation and other things. I may get a job this summer helping with cross breeding, but that is still undecided.

Where did you guys move to?

Into District X. After Elpis left campus, it was easier to commute from there.

I still need to visit the new space.

So many things to do!
