Well remote areas of Brazil don't really have the best internet/cell phone access. Then as soon as I got back to New York, I started orientation and classes. And apparently my mutation makes me extremely popular among those in the Environmental Biology Department.

No. They're still doing their own research; there is no way I can interfere there. Mostly we just have long discussions about how my powers could help conservation and other things. I may get a job this summer helping with cross breeding, but that is still undecided.

Into District X. After Elpis left campus, it was easier to commute from there.
